IB Program (ages 3-6)

At Keiki Intercultural Preschool, our Early Years Program lays the foundation for children to become confident, capable, and caring global citizens. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we follow the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), which encourages children to explore, ask questions, and make meaningful connections to the world around them.

We offer two distinct age-appropriate classes that mark the beginning of your child’s IB journey.

Socio-Emotional Development

We help children:

  • Build self-confidence and independence

  • Understand their roles and responsibilities in a community

  • Learn to set goals and reflect on their own progress

  • Develop empathy, cultural awareness, and teamwork

  • Use emotions and social understanding to guide their growth

Physical Development

Children enjoy:

  • Developing fine and gross motor skills through art, writing, and active play

  • Expressing themselves through creative movement and visual arts

  • Participating in PE and play-based exploration to stay active and engaged

  • Strengthen math skills including counting, operations, time, and money

  • Grow in phonics, reading, and writing, moving toward independent expression

  • Explore science and the world around them

  • Learn to reflect and apply their learning in meaningful ways
